Inscription:
Huang Tingjian wrote calligraphy like he was painting bamboos,
Whereas Su Shi painted bamboos like he was writing calligraphy.
The works of both men are beyond ordinary creations of the brush;
In their sparseness, they have each attained heights of sublimity in spirit.
For Chi Wei to comment on. Written by Jiazhen with the left hand in the bingchen year (1976).

For Chi Wei, a man of great refinement, to comment on:
The springs start to turn cold when the weather does so;
The mountain peak flew here from where it came from.
I toured in Hangzhou thrice, and on all three occasions visited the scenic locations at Mount Lingyin.

The Hongqiao Bridge (ofYangzhou) rises above the river, Its horizontal form adorned with red, zigzag railings.
At noon a beautifully decorated boat sails beneath the bridge,
Allowing us only a fleeting glimpse of its elegantly dressed passengers.
Written by Chen Jen Hao upon the request of Mr Yeh Chi Wei.
